Thirteen things about today:

It was sunny, extremely cold and windy outside today
Snow conditions were optimum
Traffic conditions were not
It is the start of a new month
I am one year older than this time last year
I have just enjoyed an excellent "après-ski" evening
with family and friends
There are wonderful fresh flowers in the living room
There is a lovely lingering smell of warm garlic bread
I can still hear the wind whistling in my ears
The great food, wine and music has really warmed us all up
Weekends are too short
Don't like Mondays, never have, never will
Laughter is my favourite sound;
as I write this,
the girls are giggling away, reliving their day...
instead of settling down to sleep...
it's gonna be tough getting them up
for school tomorrow..!
